As a busy wedding photographer, it’s pretty rare that I have an open weekend for any other type of event. Luckily, this particular weekend I happened to be available so when my photographer friend Wayne referred this family to me I was happy to come out. It can always be fun to get out of my regular routine and shoot different types of events. This epic truck stop themed first birthday party did not disappoint! They pulled out all the stops to celebrate adorable baby Caleb.
The party took place in the family’s backyard in Orlando. Their awesome party planners ‘Galedo Party Decor & More‘ put together a spectacular one-of-a-kind truck themed display. It even had real smoke! They had the guest tables under a large tent, a special kids only table, a customized ball pit, remote controlled carts and a bounce house. The attention to detail was impeccable from the tool boxes decorations to the three real Peterbilt trucks parked on site. The 4-tier birthday cake was SO epic and featured a rotating truck on top– very cool!
Meanwhile the DJ’s from ‘La Ronda Diversion‘ had everyone entertained with music, games and activities for both kids & adults. They also had a customized bar from ‘Feel it Molecular Bar‘ with both tasty adult beverages and kid friendly drinks like juices and milkshakes! Also the lovely ladies at ‘Happy Face Party 8‘ were making fun balloon art and offering face painting. Lastly, they also had various food stations for pizza, hot dogs, cotton candy and desserts as well as a full buffet lunch. I had such a fun afternoon chasing after Caleb and all his friends! Despite the usual Florida heat, it was a really beautiful day. Here are some of my favorite moments that I captured from this incredible event.
