These two sweethearts will be tying the knot at the Tuscawilla Country Club in Winter Springs, just north of Orlando, this December. Although it is still several months away, they took advantage of the fact that they would be in town to capture their engagement photos. Although they met while living in Central Florida, they have since moved to Virginia so they are technically not local. Luckily they had a trip planned to visit family anyway so it served as the perfect opportunity for me to spend some quality time with them. As much as I loved getting to finally meet them after coordinating all of the details through email initially, I think my favorite part was getting to meet their fur babies!
If you don’t know by now I have a soft spot for pets and I love it when my couples bring them along to the engagement session. Only this time they told me they were not only bringing their pup Denny, but also their kitty Judd! I’ve shot lots of fur babies before, but this was my first time with two pets and definitely my first cat! Their adorable crew totally stole the show for sure and they were such great models for me. Granted Judd was not interested in walking on a leash (that was a fail!) but he did a great job otherwise for sure.
It was a gorgeous day at the Rollins campus in Winter Park and we had such a great time wandering around, chatting more about their wedding day and snapping some photos in the process. We ended our shoot at Dinky Dock park where we watched the sunset and Denny got to do a little running around on the beach. It was truly a perfect day and I’m so glad I was able to meet these two in person before their big day. I hope you enjoy a handful of my favorite photos from this super fun engagement shoot!
