Orlando Proposal Photographer | Rachel & Geoff

Geoff contacted me several weeks ago to put the finishing touches on his plans to propose to Rachel by having a photographer there to capture it all! Since he works as a graphic designer and illustrator his plan was to recreate the map of the gardens at Bok Tower to say “Will you marry me?” as soon as she opened it! In order to get Rachel dolled up to visit the botanical gardens, he told her that his brother was visiting from out of town with his family for his anniversary and wanted everyone to meet up there. Even though Rachel questioned why he would want them to get all dressed up, Geoff just insisted that was what his brother requested! (Because when all else fails just blame your brother right?)

When they got to this secluded spot that Geoff had already scoped out prior, he would tell Rachel to check the map to see where they needed to go to meet them– and BAM! He would get down on one knee and ask her to marry him. He did such a great job planning everything down to the smallest details. He even sent ME a map to show me how to get to the designated spot as well as a photo of a marker that was there so that I would know when I was at the right place. He also meticulously printed multiple copies of his special brochure to ensure the folds on the paper were just right. He put so much thought and effort into planning the perfect proposal and I was thrilled to have been there to capture it all!

After it was all said and done we had an awesome time wandering through the expansive gardens to capture some official engagement photos. They are such a sweet and fun couple, I had an amazing time shooting them! It was hard to narrow down my favorites from over 100 photos I captured, but here are just a handful of my faves from this awesome proposal.
