Sonam & Dipesh | Orlando Proposal Photographer
Dipesh reached out to me about a month before he planned to propose to his girlfriend Sonam. He wanted to plan an extra special surprise for her and wanted my help finding decorations, florals and a venue. Of course I was totally on board to help bring his vision to life and get all the details in place for him since he was planning everything from out of state. He had the idea of doing it at ICON Orlando which is our famous ferris wheel. I tried to make some phone calls for him and get him some contacts, but when our search came up dry we decided to come up with a different plan.
I recommended The Castle Hotel which is a beautiful venue that is in close proximity to the beautiful ferris wheel. I knew that from the rooftop terrance we would be able to see it in the background. Dipesh loved the idea since it would be totally private and much easier to setup the decorations that he wanted.
Our next mission was sourcing the decor and floral that he had in mind and of course I knew just who to call. My friends over at Revel Events are truly incredible at what they do and they always help me plan my more extravagant proposals. They have a knack for creating one-of-a-kind designs to suit my couples specifically and after talking to Dipesh they came up with an amazing design that featured romantic candles, a copper arch and a personalized neon and laser cut sign that read “Marry Me Sonam”. I’ve never seen anything like it before! They also provided a cocktail table and chairs on the terrace for them to enjoy a glass of wine afterwards.
In order to get Sonam to the hotel rooftop, Dipesh devised a plan to say there was a nursing gala going on. He enlisted the help of her sister who got her there on time and made sure she was dressed to impress. The hotel even created a fake sign! Of course the entire thing was flawless and we were met with a perfect proposal and a killer sunset to boot. It was truly a night to remember and I was so thrilled to have been able to plan and capture every moment.
