You might remember this stunning bride Kaycie from her Fall wedding at the Tavares Pavilion on the Lake. Just a few days before her big day though, we went out to Lake Louisa state park in Clermont for a bridal photography session. As much as I love shooting these types of sessions, bridal portraits are not very common in Florida. However, they are very popular in Southern states (which Florida clearly does not qualify) such as Georgia which is where this beauty is originally from.
In the south it’s typical for brides-to-be to have their bridal portraits taken on a separate day from their wedding where we can get gorgeous images in her dress without the added stress of the wedding day. And I’m SO happy we were able to capture some amazing images beforehand because if you saw her wedding day blog, you know that the weather was not fully cooperating that day! Kaycie wanted a woodsy, rustic feel to her portraits and Lake Louisa in Clermont was the perfect backdrop. It was such a joy to spend a little extra time with Kaycie and I hope you enjoy some of my favorite portraits below.
