Celebration, Florida

Britney & Antoine will be getting married this Summer 2023 at the beautiful Treasury on the Plaza in St. Augustine, Florida. In preparation for their big day we had the opportunity to hang out and capture some engagement photos around the adorable town of Celebration in Central Florida. I love this location because it offers lots of pretty backgrounds within a small area. That means we don’t have to do *too* much walking in heels! (Although Britney was smart and brought slides to walk in between locations)

This was a 30-min mini session as the first half of the session was a family photoshoot including their young son. I always enjoy when couples include their kids (or fur babies)! Since the focus in on the engagement though, I picked out a handful of my favorite shots just of the two of them to share. We had a great time exploring the waterfront area and the pretty fountain on Front Street. I know all of the best spots at this location so we were able to do a lot in a short amount of time.  Working efficiently is my area of expertise as a wedding photographer!

They did an awesome job taking all of my posing direction and cues as well. I’m always so proud when my clients become little models right in front of my eyes! One of the most important things to me during the engagement session is to ensure there is no awkwardness. I realize being in front of the camera can be a little nerve wracking so I offer lots of prompts throughout the entire shoot. This way the couple has no time to feel uncomfortable or awkward and they can focus on just having fun! I think these two killed it and I can’t wait to see them again in August.
