Lake Nona – Orlando, Florida

Ashley & Andrew’s Disney wedding is coming up in a little over a week (and I can’t wait)! In preparation for their big day, they wanted to schedule their engagement photography session closer to the wedding. This way they could get some quality photo practice in beforehand– SO smart. They did such a great job taking all of my posing direction and transformed into little IG models by the end of it all! 😂 Andrew was definitley a good sport when I asked them to dance, haha.. they absolutely killed it.

We chose their vibrant, modern neighborhood of Lake Nona for their backdrop. I personally feel this place is such a hidden gem in Orlando for photos! There are tons of adorable & playful areas, but also artsy and naturey spots all relatively close to one another. However, this area hasn’t been overrun by photographers *yet* so it’s usually very quiet as well. Not to mention the sunsets there are gorgeous! I wish I could shoot here more often– it’s definitley the most fun, unique place in Orlando.

We explored the stained glass sculpture house, then visited the brightly colored wall mosaics & murals and finished the shoot at a nature trail. In just 1 hour I managed to deliver 120 edited images! 😱 That’s kind of unheard of, but they were so cute I couldn’t help myself.
