Jennifer & Mike | Disney World Engagement Photographer, Orlando

These two love birds were going to be visiting Orlando on vacation from Oklahoma. Since they had just recently gotten engaged, they figured it would be the perfect opportunity to capture some Florida sunshine and Disney magic in their engagement photos. We texted back and forth for several days as we figured out the best day, time and location for their photo shoot. The original date they wanted was booked, but luckily they had some flexibility in their schedule and I was able to book them for a Thursday close to sunset. Most of the time I am shooting at the Disney theme parks right when they open since it typically works better with my couples schedules to shoot in the morning. However I was thrilled that Jennifer and Mike were able to make a later timeframe work because the light during this time of day at Magic Kingdom was super pretty! 

The only kicker was that we only had one hour to shoot and I do usually spend at least 2 hours in the parks for these types of sessions. Obviously walking around takes up a good amount of time on it’s own, not to mention waiting for the right moment where there are no people walking in front of my camera. Not to toot my own horn or anything… but I feel like I’ve officially mastered the art of making Disney World look empty in photos after this session! ;) Not only that, but we were able to hit so many great spots within a short amount of time. From Cinderella’s castle from every angle to Main Street and a few spots in between, and all with no tourists in the background– I felt like I earned an imaginary photographer medal or something because it’s not an easy task!

These two were such troopers too with Jennifer hiking around in high heels and being extra adorable at all times which made my job that much easier. They even made a short list of locations they wanted to shoot at in advance complete with photo examples so that we had a clear game plan for the shoot! It was perfect and we were able to wrap the session right on time. I got SO many great captures, but here are just a few of my favorites from their fairytale engagement session at Disney!
