These love birds came to Disney World Orlando by way of Louisville, Kentucky to celebrate their Disney fairytale wedding with their closest friends and family. (Fun fact: I have actually visited Louisville many times as I used to live in Fort Knox as a kid, but most recently I traveled there in 2021 to capture a wedding!) Needless to say I’ve had lots of Kentucky based couples and they are always the sweetest. This was one of those wedding days where all the stars align– the timeline flowed flawlessly and the lighting was perfectly overcast just when I needed it to be. Kirsten & Seth totally put their trust in me as their wedding photographer and were amazing at taking my guidance which really let us create some magic. I was living for the warm pastel pops of color in the florals and even in the groom’s attire. It complimented the scenery at the Boardwalk Inn so well.
I know I always say this, but choosing images to blog was SO hard. There was way too many good ones so I just went in and very randomly picked a few. 😆 Enjoyyyy!
[Note: Their wedding video is still being edited, but it will be added here once it’s ready!]
As always, prior to the wedding day I worked with the couple to craft their wedding timeline together to ensure it was the most smooth & stress-free day. They booked a 7-hour photo + video collection split between morning & evening coverage. Here’s a brief summary of how it all went down.

Kirsten & Seth opted to have a first look before the ceremony which allowed them a very sweet and private moment together. We also were able to use the time after for plenty of couple’s photos around the Boardwalk Inn resort including some really cool shots with their Bentley convertible! Since they didn’t have a wedding party, it made things a bit more manageable as we wandered around the Boardwalk pre-ceremony.
Their intimate wedding ceremony took place at Sea Breeze Point with a lovely view of the water. The bride pulled up in an iconic Bentley convertible fit for a literal queen. The ceremony itself was nice & quick and their guests sent them off with a bubble exit which always looks so cute down the walkway here. From there, they hopped back into the convertible together and we followed them down the Boardwalk for some epic shots with the car.
Since they had a small guest count, the Attic served as the perfect location for an intimate lunch reception and mingling. They also had a couple of watercolor artists from Disney there who drew adorable custom portraits of the guests. Everyone was raving about how cool it was– definitley a unique wedding favor that guests won’t leave behind! I also loved the poster sized cross-word puzzle they had printed for the guests to fill out which I’ve never seen before, but it was such an awesome idea for guests to interact with each other and learn more about the couple. Their cake topper was a Polaroid photo which I had captured for them earlier that day. They had so many personalized and thoughtful details– I was truly obsessed.
Later that evening, Bishop (their videographer) and I met them at Epcot for their dessert party at UK Lochside. Funny enough the President of Walt Disney World, Jeff Vahle and several other executives were right next to us in a private section and they actually came over to congratulate the newlyweds! After the fireworks, we headed over to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure for their ride mix-in. While we can’t take photos on the ride, I was able to get a quick group photo in front of the fountain in France as well as a romantic couples photo to end the perfect night.
