These two sweethearts traveled in from Illinois to Florida escape the snow and get married at the happiest place on earth! Shelbi shared with me that although they were getting married at Disney world, she didn’t necessarily want everything to be overly Disney-fied! They wanted a very classy understated wedding day that was very intimate and romantic and that could include their three children and be family friendly for all of their guests. Having been together for the past 7 years they had always envisioned they would have a small wedding day by a waterfall in the woods or something, but after visiting Disney on a family vacation and seeing how much work it was to plan a wedding it seemed perfect to do it in Orlando and have all the heavy lifting handled by the fairytale wedding planners!
That’s the great thing about a Disney wedding– you get to do all the fun stuff like pick out your wedding dress, design your wedding cake and choose the flowers you want, but all the big stressful things are handled by your coordinator! You literally get to just show up to your wedding day without all the chaos and madness of planning it all and for two busy parents it really was a great idea.
Shelbi and Judd got ready at the Fort Wilderness resort where their room had a view of the zebras (so cool)! Their wedding ceremony took place at the newly renovated Wedding Pavilion and their lunch reception was at the Grand Floridian Resort. To add another extra layer of awesomeness, they also had a dessert party later that night at Epcot complete with brownies, churros, a nitro dessert bar and of course FIREWORKS! And to top of their evening, they shared a private first dance in Italy under the stars– talk about romantic. It was a beautiful day start to finish and I’m excited to share just a few of my favorite images and their highlight video from their Disney wedding day below. Enjoy!
