Ashley & Mike | Engagement Photography

I met Ashley & Mike at Lake Eola in downtown on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in the park. It’s always a bit crowded on the weekend, but they snagged one of my last available Saturdays to help accommodate their work schedules (and put my photography skills to the test!) and I think it’s safe to say we came out winning. I shoot at Lake Eola all the time with it being a downtown staple, but I love to tailor the session to the couple and I’m always able to find new and interesting places and ways to capture their special relationship so that no two sessions look alike even when they take place at the same location. Between the colorful flowers and lush landscaping, the beaming sunlight and these two immensely adorable love birds we had the perfect recipe for an amazing afternoon.

Once the sun started to set across the water Ashley & Mike did a quick wardrobe change and we went wandering around the streets of downtown for a bit. I had such an amazing time capturing them together and was especially entranced by Ashley’s piercing blue eyes– I’m sure Mike can vouch for that! I can’t wait to be alongside them on their wedding day which will take place this October in downtown as well at the Veranda at Thornton Park.
