These two cuties traveled into Orlando from Massachusetts to visit a friend and decided it would also be a great opportunity to take engagement photos! When I spoke to the bride through text we considered a few different outdoor locations, but as the date was approaching– so was a tropical storm. 🙃 We decided it would be safer and more comfortable for us all to use my favorite indoor location instead at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee. That way we would have air conditioning (which is so clutch in August!) and we could shoot any time of the day versus being limited to golden hour for nice lighting. The only big consideration here is that they do charge $38+tax/per car for parking so there is an added cost for that a/c!
Nonetheless, they loved the location and while we only had 30 minutes together for their Petite Engagement session we were able to hit lots of my favorite spots in the atrium. We started on the grand staircase which matched the elegant and classy vibe they were giving. From there we went upstairs to the gazebo which has such pretty symmetry! Then we wandered through the gardens a bit and even got a ring photo with the koi fish which is 1000% good luck. We ended the session with some fun dancing photos in front of the sailboat.
I’m so glad they were flexible to move to a new location and thrilled that they loved it! Somehow I ended up delivering over 100 total images in only a half hour– but they were so adorable you can see why I went overboard. Here are a handful of my favorite images from their super adorable engagement sesh. 🤍
