When deciding on the perfect location around Orlando for their engagement session, I asked Dahiana and Alain what type of vibe they were looking for. Since they really had no idea where they wanted to have their pictures taken, it was my job to help them find the best backdrop! Dahiana quickly mentioned that she wanted something with lots of nature. She also mentioned that her wedding day will have a little touch of “rustic” paired with lots of greenery. She really wanted something that would match this overall feeling so I recommended several places that I thought she would enjoy. My top recommendation was Downtown Celebration which is an adorable little town near Disney and South of Orlando. If you can envision that perfect little utopian neighborhood with the white picket fences that you see in the movies– Celebration is it! It is definitely one of my top favorite places to take pictures in Central Florida.

Since I knew they were both going to be wearing green, I suggested we stay away from anything too woodsy or overly lush to avoid them blending in. Luckily Celebration has a pretty waterfront as well as a nature trail that compliments their color scheme perfectly without being too much. It turned out to be the perfect spot! From the green railings to the benches, it has just the right amount of their wedding colors while still lending itself to my signature light and bright photography style.

My second photographer Jerzy and I had a lovely time wandering around this quaint little town with them. Since we had not had the chance to meet with them previously about their wedding, we also took the opportunity to chat a little about the big day and answer some timeline questions that they had. Overall we had a really great time with these two and we can’t wait for their upcoming wedding at the Maitland Art Center this Fall. I just know it’s going to be absolutely beautiful!
