Madison and Lauren reached out to me by text in February as they were planning their Summer vacation to Walt Disney World. They were visiting from New York and were planning to be in Orlando from the end of May to June. During their stay in Central Florida they wanted to take advantage of their trip to do a fun photo shoot at Disney. We tossed around a few ideas and finally decided to shoot at Epcot. I was excited because I absolutely love shooting around the World Showcase as there are so many great spots for photos with minimal crowds even during the busy season. It’s the perfect place to get tons of great variety in backdrops all within walking distance. It was also great timing because the Flower and Garden festival was going on as well! After chatting back and forth we decided on an extended 2-hour engagement session to give us enough time to leisurely walk around and explore the park together without feeling rushed.
On the day of the session, my second photographer Jerzy and I met them about 2 hours before sunset in France! It was pretty packed, but we managed to find some super cute spots to start the shoot. From there we hit Morocco which always has some great photographer friendly areas that are pretty empty! Then we had a short water and A/C break at the American Adventure (which was much needed) before we continued on to Italy. After that, we rounded off the engagement session at China and finally Norway before grabbing a few final shots with the iconic Spaceship Earth.
Despite all of the walking and the crazy Florida heat, we had an amazing time hanging out with Madison and Lauren. They were so easy going and Madison did an awesome job making camera-shy Lauren feel comfortable by keeping her laughing the entire team. They truly are such a great couple and we could quickly tell how perfectly they compliment each other from behind our cameras! Even their gorgeous gem stone engagement rings match beautifully together– just like the two of them. They were such a joy to photograph as I think you will be able to tell from some of their fun and romantic engagement photos below!
