These two cuties will be tying the knot next year in March 2025 at the Luxmore Grande Estate venue in Winter Springs! They actually found me on Instagram and were also recommended by one of my favorite wedding planners in Orlando, Anna Christine Events. It’s always amazing to work with colleagues that I know will take great care of the couple and also make my job as their wedding photographer easier in the process.
Thankfully they booked me early 13 months out from their wedding day because we were able to plan their engagement photo shoot during the cooler month of April! I always tell couples it starts to get dicey into May for engagements because of the heat & rain and once we get to June it’s roughhhh out there. So props to them for planning accordingly!
They decided on Downtown Winter Garden as the location for their engagement photos which is definitley a favorite spot of mine. It’s a little west of Orlando, but very easy to get to with the toll roads and it’s just super charming. I love the beautiful historic mosaic fountain as well as the reflection pond in front of Town Hall. Not to mention the tree lined sidewalk has beautiful white lights that always turn on around sunset which is so pretty. I’m also super obsessed with all the red brick because you really don’t get that in a lot of locations around Orlando! My favoriteee part though, was a water splash pad they had for the kids that I turned into some GORGEOUS creative photos that you will see below. I was so thrilled with how they came out.
The only “downside” at this location is that it is very crowded after 5pm because of course this is where all the locals hang out after work. There are lots of things to do in this area so there is lots of car, bike & foot traffic. Thankfully I have lots of experience making busy places look empty, but this is something to keep in mind if you don’t want to have to deal with too many people. You will also want to check their event calendar before scheduling a shoot here to be safe!
This was one of those engagement sessions where it was really sunny out and we were just chasing the sunlight the entire time. It was honestly so DREAMY and even though it can be a little tricky to work with harsh light as a photographer, I’m so glad they trusted me when I asked them to get into a flower bush for the shot, haha! Golden hour this day was honestly giving the most romantic, sun-drenched vibes in all the photos and it made my little photographer heart so happy. The couple did an amazing job taking all of my posing direction and I honestly can’t wait to see them again next year for their wedding day!
