Natasha contacted me a couple of months before her July wedding to discuss capturing her intimate wedding day with photo and video. She was wanting to have what she called a “just us” wedding for just the two of them. She had considered getting married at the Orlando courthouse, but decided she wanted something more romantic that would better capture their love story. Together they decided that Kraft Azalea gardens in Winter Park would be the perfect scenic spot to say “I do” at sunset. The Exedra is a historic monument in the park that faces the lake and it really is a unique place for a serene and intimate wedding ceremony. Natasha described how she wanted photos that looked soft & dreamy and I knew that we could make that happen at this venue!
Natasha & Presley arrived a little before sunset for photos and video around the park before they would actually exchange vows. Granted an outdoor summertime wedding in Florida is expected to be super hot, but surprisingly enough we had a really nice breeze coming off the lake and the tall cypress trees kept us cool. We had plenty of time to wander around the gardens with these two gorgeous ladies and also went out to the pier to enjoy some views of the water. After some sweet cuddles and plenty of stolen kisses, they were ready to make it official. Their heartfelt ceremony was so touching thanks to Nancy from Beautiful Bridal Ceremonies. I think we all busted into waterworks when Presley surprised Natasha with a beautiful wedding ring, which she was not expecting! It was truly an honor to capture their special day and I am super grateful that they allowed me and my videographer to be a little part of their “just us” wedding. Here are just a few of my favorite captures from their dreamy day!
