Amber and Jordan were such a chill and laid back couple and as a result their wedding day was truly a blast! After it poured down rain during their engagement photo shoot and Amber didn’t bat an eye, I knew that their wedding day was going to be amazing. Literally nothing could faze her as long as she was marrying Jordan and I firmly believe that is how a wedding should be. Their day was absolutely stunning, but it was truly centered around the genuine moments and not the minor details which made it an absolute joy to capture.
Their day started at the Marriott Grande Vista where Amber and Jordan got ready in adjoining rooms. It was super convenient to be able to toggle back and forth between their villas to capture them getting ready. They also had their first look at the resort at a quiet spot near the pool that I had scouted out earlier. It was crazy hot outside, but the Florida weather gods blessed us with some clouds and we had a stack of paper towels with us so it was all good! After doing some fun portraits with the couple, their families joined us and we got all of the formal photos out of the way before the ceremony. Score!
From there we headed over to the MetroWest area of Orlando for their Jewish wedding ceremony at the Crystal Ballroom Veranda. After they said their vows, I took them around the property for just a handful of additional husband & wife photos. Amber had mentioned to me that she really didn’t care for the exterior of the venue, but I promised her that I would make magic and I am so happy that she trusted me and my team. We were able to capture some stunning portraits that totally make it look like they are in Italy, haha!
After their grand entrances and toasts, they kicked off their wedding reception with the hora which is always the best part of a Jewish wedding! Amber’s face while she was up in the chair was priceless. I am so glad my Sony camera has amazing autofocus because I was literally dying laughing while I was shooting them!! They ended their epic wedding with a glow stick exit that was super cute (and a million times safer than sparklers– thank goodness). It was a beautiful wedding from start to finish and I can’t say enough amazing things about the two of them. They were definitely a dream couple to work with and I am totally going to miss them now that their wedding is over!
