This sweet couple and their son traveled in to Central Florida from the midwest just a few days before Christmas for their Winter wedding at Disney. What a perfect season to get married! The parks and resorts all around Disney are always immaculately decorated and the atmosphere is truly festive every wherever you go. Their ceremony took place at Sea Breeze point at the Boardwalk Inn resort. It’s one of my favorite ceremony sites at Disney because the views across the lake are just so pretty. It was a little chilly, but their wedding planner came though with blankets for the win and kept all the guests comfortable as they watched Debbie & Tim say “I do”.
From the boardwalk we headed over to Epcot® via the International Gateway which is a little known back entrance into the park. Talk about getting the VIP treatment! Their reception took place at the Terrace des Fleurs which featured more beautiful views of various countries from across the water. And of course the beautiful poinsettias added so much beauty and elegance to their gorgeous table decor. For their family friendly reception they also featured a fun table just for the kids complete with color pages and Mickey shaped rice krispy treats. They also had an awesome caricature artist who was a huge hit!
We even got the opportunity to sneak away briefly for photos around Epcot® and boy I must say I was in photographer heaven! Everything there is just so picturesque and when people see a bride & groom coming they automatically clear the way. We even ran into some awesome glitter bearded tourists who jumped in for a photo with the happy couple!! SO. MUCH. FUN. But I think my favorite-favorite part of the day was getting to ride Soarin’ with the newlyweds and all of their guests. We were escorted through the backlot and given exclusive access to the ride which takes you around the world in a glider. It was incredible. Having spent the day with Debbie & Tim at the happiest place on earth, I felt truly humbled to do what I do and so grateful that they chose me to capture their beautiful day. I hope you enjoy a handful of my favorite images below!
