These two beautiful brides who met a decade ago traveled in from Mississippi for their dream destination wedding at Disney! They spent the days leading up to their big day enjoying the parks and all of the perks and VIP treatment you receive when you get married at the happiest place on earth. When their wedding day finally arrived I met Olivia at the Art of Animation resort. She had reserved the cutest Ariel themed room from her fave Disney movie The Little Mermaid! She and all of her lovely bridesmaids got ready there while Natalie and her crew got ready at the Shades of Green resort. From there we departed to the beautiful Swan & Dolphin resort for their first look! Olivia was a ball of nerves but the moment she saw Natalie it all melted away and they were ready to say “I do.”
Their ceremony space was gorgeous surrounded by tall trees and golden light– it was just beautiful. After a heartfelt ceremony and some photo ops around the resort we headed over to Disney Springs. Their brunch reception was at the awesome House of Blues where they enjoyed mimosas with their closest friends and family. They even had an adorable donut cake– I love that idea! It was a joy to capture these two beautiful ladies become wife & wife and I wish them many more decades of love and happiness ahead.
Their proposal story as told by Olivia
“Natalie was super nervous and had been acting weird all day but planned a super sweet morning and afternoon of doing all of my favorite things: going shopping, sitting at the bookstore, going to Starbucks, and spending time together. She planned a fancy dinner for us that night. As we were walking in, I was telling her what a great day it had been and how much I loved how thoughtful she had been. She turned to me and said she knew what would make the day even better, then pulled out the ring and proposed to me outside of the car before entering the restaurant :) It was super sweet and heartfelt! I ugly cried and had to get back in the car to calm down LOL”
