Linda and Larry’s wedding day started bright & early with a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony at each of their homes. It was my first time capturing this special cultural ceremony and it was totally worth the early morning wake up call! Linda stunned everyone when she appeared in her gorgeous red dress and it was beautiful to see two families join together as one.
You might remember this ultra sweet couple from their adorable picnic-themed engagement session last month! I knew from the moment I saw all of the thoughtfulness that went into their engagement photos that their wedding was not going to disappoint and sure enough– I was right! They carried the personalization and rustic chic theme through to their big day with some incredible handmade details. My favorite was the backdrop they created for their head table which featured string lights and their initials “L&L”. I was also totally in love with the hand crafted twig arch they made for their ceremony. And while we are at it the market lights which encircled the dance floor were pretty incredible as well! Ok fine– I loved everything, but seriously… how could you not!? I can’t tell you how many times the vendors commented to each other “Could they be any cuter?” throughout the wedding day. Just when we thought they had reached maximum cuteness, they would whip out more! :-) We could barely handle it.
Linda & Larry have known each other since they were just kids growing up in the same neighborhood so it was only fitting that they incorporate their history into their big day. Each of their tables were named after something significant in their relationship together while the guest favors were peanut butter & jelly themed which corresponds to their favorite craft beer, which they also had on hand. There was nothing cookie cutter about their day– it represented them to a tee and it was incredible to have been able to capture that with both photography and videography for them! They were a dream to work with and I’m a teeny bit sad it’s over, lol– but I’m just so glad they allowed us to be a small part of it. Enjoy a handful of my favorite images from their wedding day below and try your best not to fall out of your chair from all of the cuteness!
