Jessica & Matt | Orlando Wedding Photography

This super sweet couple loves being outdoors on the water so the Lake Mary Events Center was the perfect location for their wedding day. (As a matter of fact you may remember their engagement session last year which of course also included water views and a pier.) The sunset over the water at the event center is always glorious and these two are a photographer’s dream to capture! They were all hugs and smiles and capturing their adorable chemistry is a real treat. Their bridal party was also a blast to work with and the bridesmaids certainly stole the show from the groomsmen with their incredible gold sequin dresses, although I have a feeling that was the whole point! Jessica had sparkle and shimmer everywhere from the centerpieces to her glitter topped cupcakes — a girl after my own heart. They also added a ton of charm to their reception with market lights around the dance floor which really popped against the beautiful amber uplighting. It was absolutely stunning!

My favorite part of the night had to have been their last dance. Jessica and Matt wanted to have their last dance alone, just the two of them… although it took a little bit of effort to actually get everyone out of the room (can’t blame them for wanting to continue the party)! Not only was it a super special moment for them to quietly soak in the last moments of their wedding day together, but it was so sweet to capture and I seriously may have gotten a tiny bit misty eyed! It was a first for me to have a bride & groom do their last dance alone and I really think it’s something more couples should adopt as the perfect way to end to their perfect day.
