This Tavares Pavilion on the Lake wedding was ALL sorts of awesome! Sarah put so much thought into every detail incorporating so many sweet DIY pieces into their day. I think my favorite personal touch were the table numbers. We shot them together during their engagement photo shoot using a black chalkboard and Sarah went into afterward and photoshopped numbers in. Voila! A super adorable way to personalize their tables. They also decorated their aisle with handmade wooden signs with bible verses and quotes. It was the perfect romantic touch.
Sarah also made sure to incorporate balloons into their decor, wedding cake and their portraits as an ode to the way Craig proposed (which was with a room full of balloons)! They also included a special pink balloon to honor Craig’s cousin and her battle with breast cancer which they lovingly released at the end of the evening in her memory.
With Sarah & Craig’s fun-loving personalities there was also no shortage of laughter and hilarious moments. These two are just full of surprises and when the officiant announced “you may kiss the bride” Craig had to get his pump on first with a few push ups! TOO FUNNY. They also shared an incredible choreographed first dance filled with lifts, dips and twirls across the dance floor a la Michael Jackson– they seriously killed it. The garter retrieval was also pretty dang hilarious! They blindfolded Craig and had him feel up several rather hairy legs in search of the garter. ;-)
It was truly a fun filled night of love and laughter and it was a joy to be able to capture every moment. I hope you enjoy some of my favorite photos from their memorable Tavares wedding day below!
