Veranda at Thornton Park Wedding | Ashley & Mike
If I had to summarize Ashley & Mike‘s wedding day at the Veranda at Thornton Park, it would be with the clever one-liner they had printed on their custom drink coozies! “We’re having an open bar… and a wedding! #costellobrate” DEAD ON!!!! This awesome couple, their bridal party and guests have got to be some of the most fun we have ever gotten to party with. I literally smiled through their whole wedding video and busted out laughing a couple of times while editing their wedding gallery! I also loved capturing the way Mike would look at Ashley as she was wiping away tears at the ceremony and the way they danced so playfully during their first dance. Everything about them is just genuine, adorable and fun– and I love it.
The craziest part of looking back on their big day is that you would never know there was quite the..uhh…. ‘rain delay’. OK let’s be honest, there was like a freakin monsoon midway through their wedding. Everyone kept it a secret from Ashley, but there was an actual flood warning issued by the national weather service. Crazy right!? Nonetheless, nothing was going to stop this amazing crowd from Costello-brating! And once the mini hurricane finally cleared up it was party mode ON for the rest of the night.
Ashley’s sorority sisters were out on the dance floor all night alongside Mike’s hilarious groomsmen! As a matter of fact the dance floor was packed allllll night. Hanging out with these guys seriously didn’t feel like work, not even for a second. It was such a blast and I’m so glad I got the opportunity to capture all of the fun/crazy/emotional moments!
