Orlando Wedding Planners “Cake Off”
As a part of the Orlando wedding industry it’s always fun to collaborate with my vendor friends, lovingly referred to as ‘friendors’, on projects that help build the community! When the awesome ladies from Cut the Cake announced they would be hosting a wedding planner “Cake Off” I knew I wanted to get in on the action. I had been meaning to visit their new bakery in Old Town Kissimmee especially since they are just 15 minutes away from my house! (Not to mention it was the perfect opportunity to test out a few new toys a purchased recently for video–yay!) I had a blast capturing some behind the scenes as these coordinators turned cake decorators tried their hand at some fondant rolling and buttercream art in hopes of creating the best Alice in Wonderland inspired cake. Let’s just say it’s definitely harder than it looks. I was exhausted just from watching! I think it’s safe to say they gave it a great effort, but the wedding cake design is better left to the pros. ;)
