Patrick & Amelia | Orlando Proposal Photography

Every time I get an email from a guy who wants to capture his proposal my heart swells! I want to literally high-five my computer because no matter what happens I know it that it’s going to be AWESOME. And Patrick’s proposal was seriously awesome. He contacted me a few weeks prior to his anniversary and wanted a little guidance on how to propose which of course I was happy to provide. After a few conversations, he decided to stick to their ritual of writing little love notes which they always do for each other.

So he left notes around the house and led Amelia all the way to a bench at Lake Eola. When she arrived she sat down hesitantly, looking around for her man and wondering what the heck was going on! And there I was just a few feet away capturing some lovely wildlife images– NOT! ;-) Sigh.. I have the funnest job. Anyway, the pure delight on her face when Patrick arrived was off the charts. He proceeded to sit alongside her and read her one last note– a note that would ask her to become his wife. She was elated and stunned all at once, but managed to say “yes” while strangers at Lake Eola cheered them on. I was so honored to have been there to capture it all.
