If you’re dreaming up the perfect Orlando proposal, let this sweet moment at Kraft Azalea Gardens in Winter Park inspire you. It had all the makings of a rom-com-level surprise: a hidden photographer (hiiii 👋), a personalized picnic, and a bouquet of sunflowers and white roses–her absolute favorites. Cue the tearssss.

This proposal was a total collaboration between us and the future groom. He came to us with a vision: something private, heartfelt, and tailored to the little details that make their 10-year long love story special. We handled the planning, setup, and execution so all he had to do was show up and get down on one knee!!

The Setup: Romantic Picnic Vibes in Kraft Azalea Gardens

Kraft Azalea Gardens is one of the most beautiful places to propose near Orlando. It has crazy tall shaded oak trees, lake views, and tucked-away pathways that feel like a secret garden. We kept the proposal setup simple and sweet: a cozy picnic blanket, a few soft touches, and a custom “you & me” sign which Carlos shared is their thing that they always say. Super sweet!

He also asked for a bouquet of sunflowers and white roses, which we sourced and arranged to have waiting for her. It was the perfect finishing touch–she was elated! That’s the moment we live for.

The Moment: Genuine Emotion, Perfectly Captured

We stayed hidden until the big moment, and as soon as he dropped to one knee, we were there to capture every angle, tears, laughs, and that priceless “yes” moment. Afterward, we spent a few minutes getting dreamy portraits of the two of them around the park while they soaked in the moment. They took all of my posing direction so well and I couldn’t be happier with how the photos turned out. The golden light filtering through the trees was literally chef’s kiss.
