From the moment you get that sparkly ring slipped on your finger (and sometimes way before!) the wedding wheels starting spinning in your head and all you can think of are color palettes, centerpieces and wedding dresses! But you’ve probably never done this before and the fact is, you don’t know what you don’t know. When I got married I wasn’t in the wedding industry yet and looking back at it there are so many things I had NO CLUE about that I know now that I get to photograph weddings every weekend.

The great thing about wedding blogs is that they feature real weddings from around the country that give you the opportunity to see what other couple’s are doing and gather fresh, new ideas that you can incorporate into your own wedding day! Pinterest can be a great resource… at times– but it’s also filled with lots of the same and let’s keep it real, there are also a slew of ultra cheesy and un-original ideas floating all over the place. No bueno.
