Alexa and Kevin were married last weekend at Calvary Church in Winter Park in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by their friends and family. I met these two adorable love birds last Spring when we did their engagement photos and I had such a great time with them– I just knew their wedding was going to be great! They are super sweet together and clearly totally in love. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that all of my couples are not in love (I hope!) but you can see the chemistry between them from a mile away and it was truly an awesome thing to capture. Alexa wore a stunning fit and flare wedding dress with sparkly beaded detailing along the entire bodice and buttons down the back– it was to die for! Her bridesmaids wore varying styles in blush pink which is super popular right now and nicely complimented the guy’s grey suits. After their ceremony, we headed down the street to Rollins college which was actually the same place we did their engagement photos. It kind of brought everything full circle to be there once again, but this time as husband & wife!
Their reception was at the Winter Park Women’s Club and it was party mode ‘on’ from the moment they arrived. Their guests were on the dance floor all night long and it was a seriously awesome celebration. And to end things on a high note, they brought smoke bombs with them for their grand exit! Granted the rain had other plans that night, but that didn’t stop us from getting a few killer photos with the smoke bombs before hand. ;) Thank goodness the Runway Events team was there to help with our smoke bomb shenanigans!
