Rose & James | Wedding Photographer & Videographer

I’m sure you will remember this super fun couple from their engagement session which I recently posted on the blog! As expected from all the shenanigans at their engagement shoot— their wedding day did not disappoint! Rose & James had a beautiful blush pink theme throughout their wedding which carried from the bridesmaids dresses, to the flowers, to the cake and even the lighting in the room. So soft and romantic! They also added a ton of quirky, personalized touches like the groomsman’s non-floral boutonnieres, their animated ceremony programs which featured the two of them and their entire bridal party in cartoon form, and their adorable cake topper. They also incorporated some traditions into their ceremony as well such as the vietnamese tea ceremony to honor Rose’s family heritage.

The new Mr. & Mrs. Reyes also did an epic first dance and I must say their dance lessons really paid off! They really nailed that foxtrot a la ‘dancing with the stars’! It was probably the best first dance I’ve seen in a while and I think everyone in the room was a little jealous when James swept Rose off her feet– literally. These two are just freaking adorable together and I enjoyed every moment of capturing their special day. Check out a quick glimpse of their beautifully rosy (pun intended!) wedding day below. ;-)

The hilariously awesome proposal story as told by Rose:

It all went down on Valentines day, February 14, 2015. James planned for fun filled day at Disney’s Epcot. The park was full of guests, and the line to get into the park was long, which made James even more anxious! Once inside the park, James asked Rose if she would want to take a picture. They got into a little argument because Rose wanted the cast member to use her own camera to take the picture instead of the cast member taking the photo, but James was not having it! Annoyed, Rose agrees to take the picture but says “I’m not going to buy it.” Posing in front of Spaceship Earth Ride, the BIG EPCOT BALL, James gets down on one knee. Rose was so surprised she didn’t even let James get a word in: Rose: “What are you doing? OMG SHUT UP STOP OMG” James: “Rose will…” Rose: “OMG SHUT UP ARE YOU SERIOUS? OMG SHUT UP” James: “WOMAN, WILL YOU MARRY ME?!?” Rose: “YESSS!!” Everyone applauded around them! There were tears of joy, and Rose couldn’t even ride any attractions. Needless to say, they bought those pictures…
