Maggie and Arthur traveled from New York to Orlando exchange vows at the happiest place on earth– Disney World! They made the trip along with a handful of their closest friends and family for an intimate and romantic Summer affair. They both got ready at the Grand Floridian Resort which is adjacent to the Disney Wedding Pavilion. Maggie wore a stunning gown which had a bolero as well as a detachable full skirt– it was truly breathtaking! And Arthur looked dapper as well sporting a tie with hidden mickey’s in true Disney style.
After a few finishing touches at the bride’s vestibule, as Disney likes to call it, Maggie was ready to marry her prince charming. With their adorable daughter watching on, they exchanged vows at the Wedding Pavilion in a ceremony officiated by Rev. Kevin Knox. After the ceremony, we took a handful of photos at the arch, but the July heat & humidity was not exactly agreeing with these New Yorkers so we took the majority of their portraits in the picturesque (and air conditioned) Grand Floridian lobby. ;-)
From there we headed off to the Contemporary Resort for their reception in the Napa Room at the exclusive California Grill Restaurant. The fireworks show was truly the highlight of the evening– so romantic. Although I think the flower girl may disagree since she was thrilled to see Mickey show up at the end of the night to do some dancing and to help cut the cake. I will let you decide! Enjoy some of the highlights from their wedding day below.
