Hayley and Robert were married in August at the beautifully picturesque Leu Gardens in Orlando in a navy and nature themed wedding. Of course when planning an August wedding it’s probably a good idea to keep things indoors to avoid the many hazards of Florida summers that include bugs, sweat and humidity! Thankfully this couple chose to do just that taking advantage of the indoor space Leu Gardens offers using the Lantern Room for their ceremony and venturing outdoors for photos– the best of both worlds.
They also chose to do a first touch instead of a first look which is growing in popularity among couples who don’t necessarily want to see each other before the ceremony, but still want a private moment to themselves before they say “I do”. Hayley took this special opportunity to present Robert with a handwritten letter and they prayed together for the last time as fiance’s and prepared to become husband and wife.
After a beautiful ceremony and some portraits around the gardens, they headed to 310 Lakeside restaurant in Downtown Orlando to celebrate with their guests. Hayley’s sorority sisters know how to party and everyone had an amazing time– the dance floor was packed all night long and there may or may not have been a Celine Dion sing along at some point in the evening! ;-) They ended their awesome wedding day with a fun sparkler exit and left in true downtown Orlando style with a pedicab ride! Enjoy some of my favorites from their epic wedding day below.
