Karla and Blake were married on a gorgeous day in October at the Royal Crest Room in St. Cloud just south of Orlando. This is such a pretty venue– the sunset over the rose garden terrace is literally to die for! Despite some early storms, the skies parted just in time to let lots of glowing sunlight in as this beautiful couple tied the knot in a beautiful outdoor ceremony. The moment Blake saw Karla at the end of the aisle, he looked a little stunned– not that I blame him, she looked truly breathtaking. Her gorgeous wedding gown featured a sheer high neckline and sparkly beading and fit her like a glove!
After their ceremony we had a blast carting around this gorgeous golf course property. Their bridal party was so much fun– the guys even asked to borrow golf clubs from a passing golfer for the perfect groomsmen photo opp! The rolling grassy hills and pretty stonework at this venue also made for the perfect backdrop for some stunning romantic portraits of the newlyweds. Totally one of my favorite places to photograph at in Central Florida!
Their gold and black 1920s Great Gatsby theme was beautifully executed from the ostrich feathers in the centerpieces to the lace in Karla’s bouquet. It was subtle, yet special which is right up my alley. It was truly a night to remember! It was even a little extra special for me to celebrate alongside these newlyweds since I was married on October 9th myself. ;)
Cheers to my first October couple of many during this busy wedding season. I hope you enjoy a little sneak peek below of some of my faves!
