Genuine ranches are a little hard to come by in Central Florida, but if you venture out a little off the beaten path you can find some gorgeously rustic and romantic venues like the Skyline Ranch in Groveland. It was definitely a bit of a hike outside of Orlando, but once you reach this stunning 140 acre property on the lake you know the trip was totally worth it. Kellie and Alex chose this special venue for their baby blue & sunny yellow rustic wedding and it was absolutely perfect.
They were married on the lawn overlooking the lake and celebrated all night under the twinkle lights of the pavilion. Kellie put lots of time into tons of pretty DIY touches from the chalkboard signs, to the mason jar aisle runners and table centerpieces, to the homemade strawberry jam favors, and the gorgeous ribbon backdrop for their sweetheart table. They also had lots of fun little activities for their guests to enjoy including feeding the horses and playing life-size Jenga! Enjoy some of the highlights from this pretty Spring wedding below.
How he proposed as told by Kellie: Alex proposed during our European vacation last fall. We traveled to Neuschwanstein Castle in Schwangau, Germany. After touring the castle, Alex popped the question on the balcony overlooking the Bavarian Alps!
