Let’s talk about how we turned just 30 minutes into a full gallery of over 70 dreamy images at one of the most iconic photo spots in all of Orlando: Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. This spot never fails! it’s romantic, vibrant, and full of character. My favorite party is that it offers SO many backdrops in one place. From the vintage charm of Atlantic Dance Hall to the sunset glow at Sea Breeze Point. We were even able to get a quick shot with the Disney Skyliner and a view of Paris in Epcot. We definitley made every second count.
And yes, I know what you’re thinking.. 73 photos in just 30 minutes?
Yep. Totally possible (without rushing!) when you know the location inside and out.
This was technically a mini session, but I always like to say: just because it’s short doesn’t mean it’s lacking in magic. The lighting was perfect, the Boardwalk energy was high, and we had a blast moving quickly from one gorgeous corner to another. This couple trusted the process and the results totally show.
Like lots of guys I work with, the groom wasn’t really into taking photos– understandably so. But looking through the gallery, you’d never know. I gave just enough direction to keep it relaxed and natural while sneaking in flattering angles and sweet in-between moments. Honestly, those “we’re not photo people” couples are kind of my favorite. It’s fun showing them how good they really look on camera.
We started off outside Atlantic Dance Hall, where the retro vibes and clean lines make every shot feel a little editorial. Then we strolled down the Disney Boardwalk, catching golden light reflecting off the lake. One of my favorite moments was at Sea Breeze Point, where the sun dipped just low enough to give us that warm glow behind the white gazebo. It’s one of the most romantic spots on Disney property and you can totally see why it’s popular for proposals and weddings.
We even squeezed in some cute shots with the Disney Skyliner drifting in the background over Epcot Paris.. such a fun nod to Disney without being over-the-top.
This spot seriously checks every box. It’s elegant, whimsical, and filled with light and color. You get water views, classic architecture, and fun Disney touches all within walking distance. And it’s perfect for mini sessions especially for couples who are doing an engagement session, anniversary shoot, or just want cute vacay photos.
As a local Orlando engagement photographer, I shoot here often and know exactly how to work the light, move through the spots quickly, and keep couples feeling relaxed the whole time. Whether you’re a little camera shy or fully embracing your main character moment, I’ll guide you every step of the way. ;)
