Jessica + Dixie & Popo | Orlando Portrait Photography

This beautiful trio is pretty special to me because I met Jessica back when I was first starting my business about 2 years ago! When she told me she wanted a family photo shoot with her two dogs I was elated because I looooove dogs and I always enjoy incorporating them into photo shoots. Since then I’ve had the great pleasure of photographing her awesome little (furry) family not once, not twice.. but three times!! This was our latest shoot featuring her two sweet girls Dixie, a Rhodesian Ridgeback and her Australian Sheep Dog, Popo. Her dogs are the biggest sweethearts and it’s always such an adventure to wrangle them and get them to sit and smile for me. Shooting animals always makes me a tiny bit nervous as a photographer because there is sooo much more going on than in your typical photo shoot, but it’s always a blast (dirt, sweat and all!) and I’m beyond thrilled with all the gorgeousness I was able to capture in the woods.

Jessica definitely makes my job easier as well with her beaming smile and her willingness to get down & dirty. As a matter of fact some of my favorite images are of her rolling around in the grass with her girls! I just love being able to capture the special bond between humans and their pets– they are awesome memories that I really think more people should invest in especially when your dogs are such a big part of your life!
